Volunteer Services
Transportation: shopping, medical appointments, events 
Light yard work: gardening, snow removal, leaf raking
Minor home maintenance: changing light bulbs, moving furniture
Technology assistance: Mac and PC computers, smartphones, printers
Friendly visits or phone calls to keep members connected

Volunteer Services do not include
Support typically provided by nurses and nursing assistants
Administering medications

Social Connections
Fairfield Cares Helpful Village can plan social outings and events:
Coffee meet-ups
Group meals or socials at local restaurants
Speakers
Educational Activities
Outings to theater and dance performances
Concerts
Sporting events

Local Service Providers

Members can access lists of local service providers, like Home Care Nurses or other professionals, like plumbers or carpenters, that they can hire for pay.

Fairfield Cares Helpful Village does not vet these professionals. However, individual Members can review and recommend them, and other Members can see these recommendations.
